Memory leak - 9.1.2 Express for Sony on OS X

I just filled a support request after observing the CO process grab about 60GB of RAM (on a machine with 16GB of physical memory). This occurred after importing about 800 items and keeping the program in the background. The current catalog is quite small at ~4200 images.
I see that this problem has been reported before for previous versions. Apologies if this was reported for 9.1.2 as well.
