Catalog Management Preferences and Tools?
Long time member, infrequent poster. Forgive me if this is covered somewhere but I couldn't find it with my searches.
I'm trying to Ingest several MediaPro catalogs into C1 and have the thumbnails and previews available while my primary storage is offline. I'd successfully pulled several of these into C1 leaving the images in place thinking that the thumbnails and previews would be available after import (this is how MediaPro works), but that doesn't seem to be the case.
Is there a way to convert these to store previews on my laptop disk or do I have to go through the entire import process again. On a similar note, there appear to be very few catalog management tools in C1, and what tools are there seem primarily available during the import process but not afterwards. Am I missing something?
Any assistance appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Just to clarify, my hope is to have only the thumbnails and previews available offline -- not duplicates of all the RAW files. THanks again! 0 -
You can import into a Catalog in two ways - as referenced or managed images. If in the import menu you choose to leave the image files in their current location, this is 'referenced" mode, and only thumbnails, previews, metadata and adjustments are added to the catalog. 0
