7.1.1 bug

I'm in a session, I try to change the name of a folder, I change the name of the folder, with the name of the folder still highlighted I try to change over to the output area and the program freezes every time. At this point I have to force quit. mac os 10.8

  Dale - If you haven't already, absolutely open a support case with the deve team. This is a user forum and you have what sounds like a legitimate bug so a support case will get some results much more quickly.
