Can you define the timezone setting for your system?

Sometimes their are strange offsets for certain areas that wreck havoc on metadata.

Sorry for the delay, I am working.

You refer to the timezone of the laptop? or the timezone for the camera?. I have done the last photos in Spain, the timezone was configurated for Spain , now in Doha I have configurated the timezone for Qatar. I am speaking about the timezone in the camera.

    Regards

I think it be best if you created a support case.

I have created a support case yesterday.
I created this topic for if other people had similar problems.
The case is that I have downloaded a tryal version of Capture One Pro for windows at lunch time, in work's laptop( But my particular laptop is Mac). I don't have Raw files here but I have downloaded jpeg files from Dropbox. This files were processed with Capture One Pro, in which, the program could not detect the hour and the date good in the RAW files. I have imported the jpeg and, which is my surprise, in the metadata tab, the hour and the date are correct.

thanks alot for your reply and for your interest.

    Best Regards

Did you get a response from support? I am getting similar problem. I use Nikon D5100, D90 and COOLPIX P7000 with no problem. But when I use a SAMSUNG SMARTPHONE S3, I never get the capture date or created date. The date that is shown ( as a created date) is the date when I imported the files into the MAC. Thanks, Arnaldo

    Good morning for all

I have got response from support team, Exist a problem with some timezone in mac and Capture one. I am living in doha, if I put the doha timezone I have problems with hour and date, in the data tab says 1970. When I will import my images, I need to change the timezone, for example spain, I do this and then import the images. The date and the hour are correctly I don't have troubles. My case was reported to R&D and I guess that in a new version of capture One they will solve the problem.
