1Ds Mk II files not being altered

I just bought a 1Ds Mark II and pulled up my first batch of .cr2 files in Capture 1 5.1.2 (not pro). The images are displayed, but the histogram doesn't show any info and when I change anything (WB, exposure, etc.) it doesn't do anything.

What can I do?

I closed the program, opened it back up, and now it's working. Glitch?
