MetaData Templates
If I fill out all the Metadata I want for an image, I would like to save the data. Next job, I can just pull up that template again. Basically, the IPTC tool from CP3.
In theory, I can Copy the data with the Adjustments Clipboard (double arrow icon) then save a Style. However, I have yet to figure out how to reload the Style data so that I can paste it again. It just says "No Adjustments Loaded". Doesn't seem to work like I expect it to.
I can copy/paste the data for the existing job, but a new job, without anything to copy/paste from, leaves me a little lost. Anyone know? Thanks.

Save your MetaData information as a style (Adjustments Tool). Set Next Capture Adjustment (Capture Tool) to All Other: Defaults with Style. Select the MetaData style and every image will be captured with all of your Meta information. 0 -
I am not tethered or otherwise capturing anything. I just want to apply the style to another folder of existing images. 0 -
Bob,
That's the idea with Styles. That Style resides on your machine. When you have a new group of images, navigate to those images and load them in Capture One. From there select the images, go to your Clipboard, Style, Copy to Clipboard, choose your style (holding the metadata) and then simply "Apply".0 -
1. Select Image with Metadata
2. Copy Metadata (Now seen in Adjustments clipboard)
3. Styles - Save as Style - So far, so good.
4. Close CP 5.1 - Reopen
5. Select Images without any Metadata
6. Adjustment Clipboard says "No Adjustments Copied"
7. Styles - Copy to Clipboard - Select the Style I just saved.
8. Adjustment Clipboard says "No Adjustments Copied"
9. Right-Click - Apply Adjustments - Nothing Happens
10. Look at Metatdata tab - Try to Apply Adjustments there - Still no adjustments available0 -
