The new forum
Hi,
Because there is no forum for Off Topic things I write here.
I just want to tell you that I do not like the new style of the forum. I think that it is very bad to read and very confusing.
Why do you use a yellow color for the text???
The very small icons on the black background at the left side of the forums are completely confusing. I nearly cannot differ the icons. They are too smalll and the difference between the icons is to less.
Furthermore I think that it is not ok that you suddenly show other names of the users. Each user did register with a special name. Now you show a completely other name without asking the users.
Beside this I am very astonished that it took several months to change all this.
My english is not the best and so I hope that I did use the correct words without beeing unfriendly.

I think your posting is clear and not easy to be misunderstood. I second your opinions: hard to read and orientate due to high contrast in background/text and small icons, confusion with names (I now simply appear as 'Paul' but there are more members with the same first name).
I do hope that some fine tuning will be done in the near future because I find this discouraging to work with, which can't have been Phase One's intention.0 -

Some like it and some don't, that's how it is with everything.
We did expect this and kept the "old school" 😉 style still available.
Go to your User Control Panel -> Board Preferences-> Change "My Board Style" to "ProSilver" and hit "Submit"
In regards to user names, it will be modified as well. We did expect people to use signature, this was a naive presumptions and it will be changed over the next couple of weeks so unique "handles" will be mandatory.0 -

Now I feel fine again. The prosilver style of phpbb 3 is great and I am able to read the posts and identify the icons easily. 0 -

Thanks Ulf, the classic prosilver style is easier for my older eyes than the PO disco style 😊0 -
