Tool Palette, change default settings

I would like to change the default settings on the "Noise Tool Palette" to zero on all three tools. I use the context drop down menu to save as default settings, but each photo I select after always loads up the program's original settings.... frustrating.... help please....

  the new defaults are not applied to images in the current session.
  first if you create a new session the new defaults will work...

  Defaults are applied when you open new images, i.e. when CO5 creates the .cos work file. Hence, trashing the work file (and your adjustments for that image as a result) will also force the (new) defaults upon your images.

  Thank you both- I will try this next session. I did find I could set a preset and use this during my current session.
