Fuji X-E2s and CaptureOne Pro
Hi all,
I'm considering to buy a Fuji X-E2s so I'd like to know: has anyone tried to process it's raw files in CaptureOne?
Although it has a different housing it is basically an X-T1 (same sensor, same processor, same raw file?) wich is supported.
I know that it is not on the list of supported cameras but I'm hoping it might just work.
Regards,
Frank

The Fuji XE2 is supported in COPv9.2.
The XE2S is essentially the same as the XE2
I have the XE2 camera and can edit RAW files.
At present the XPro2 is unsupported by COP but I am sure that Phase One will address this soon.
I will see if I can find a XE2S RAF file to test.
Have you put in a Support Case entry to request enhancement of COP9.2 to support XE2S RAFs?
If you dont do this then PhaseOne dont see it as a priority to support 😉0 -
Thank you for your reply, but I think you are wrong. The X-E2s isn’t essentially the same as the X-E2.
As I wrote above - it has the same sensor and the same processor like the X-T1, so it’s basically an X-T1 with a different housing.
I haven’t put in a support case because if it doesn’t work out of the box I won’t buy it.
So... anyone else with an X-E2s?

OK I have a XE2S RAF and it definitely does not work in COP9.2 natively.
It does work in LightZone (free RAW converter) so maybe you have that as an option as it saves to TIFF or JPG.
I suggest that you raise a Support Case anyway if you intend getting the camera.
I agree with you the XE2S is an XE2 body with XT1 guts.
That in itself woudl make the development of a new profile in COP very easy to produce, if you raise a Support Case.0 -
Thank you very much, jknights!
That helps a lot.

Frank
p.s. Oh by the way, support case is raised but got no reply so far.0 -
Well i hope they get it in the pipeline soon!
They will need to do the new XT2 as well.0
