file management ideas?
Does anyone have suggestions or a link on file management? I love that C-1 references files on my HD so I can make changes in either place (as opposed to the complexity of Lightroom) but I often want to store an image in several different folders. Is there a better option than copying it into each folder? i haven't done anything with smart albums & not sure they would be any help here. Thanks.

I'd suggest that you don't keep copies of images in more than one place. Keep it that there is just one raw file. But the catalog offers you a lot of features to enable you to do things like have different variants of an image (virtual copies) and to include an image in more than one album, smart album etc.
You'd find it helpful to watch the recent webinar about how to organise your catalog.
