The picture styles in camera do not apply to the raw data. They are only used when the camera processes to JPEG. The information is tagged into the file so Canon's software may make use of it, but the raw data is untouched (that is why you can use Canon's software to turn a B&W styled photo back to color).

What version of Capture One LE are you using? There was an issue with 3.7.5 and the 400D that was corrected in 3.7.6.

Otherwise could you describe in a little more detail what problem you are seeing with the colors (or post a few samples if possible). Someone may be able to give you a little help to work around the problem.

    Hi
I am using 3.7.5, I did 'nt realise there was a later version.
The problem I am seeing is that the colour is far too blue and auto white balance pushes it to 12,000k to get anywhere near a correct colour balance.

Viewing the same picture in either DPP or Adobe Elements 3 gives accurate colour with very little adjustment.

I cant upload a pic because I have a very slow dial-up modem, no broadband! 😭

    thanks

The problem you're having is exactly what 3.7.6 fixed. Update and see if it sorts itself out.

Trevor, check here for a comparison of 3.7.5 vs 3.7.6 with the 400d ... http://members.aol.com/bhilton665/tests/400d_raw/

    Hi all

Thanks for the info. The comparison samples were the similar to the results I was getting. I have now downloaded 3.7.6 and will try it out. 😊

    thanks very much
