Pasting Vertical Crop to Horizontal Image and vice-versa
Does anyone know how to apply a vertical crop from a vertical image to a horizontal image and the crop adjust to the horizontal dimensions? According to the 5.01 userguide it is possible, as it reads: "When you make a crop in an image the crop orientation
(landscape vs. portrait) will automatically switch to maximize the crop
area staying within the aspect ration constraints."
But it doesn't work for me. Everytime I paste the settings from the vertically cropped image to a horizontal image the crop is still vertical.
Thanks in advance.

The quoted text from the manual has a different meaning, different situation; it does not apply to copying to another image with different orientation (at least how I read it). You can crop either in landscape or portrait in both landscape and portrait orientation and the crop tool (or cropping) will within the set constraint maximize the cropped area.
Apart from that, a crop is copied and applied as it is, not adapting to orientation between images if these are different.0 -
Thanks for the clarification.
