Missing Previews
I just imported some canon files into 7.1 at first it did not generate all the previews, then they all disappeared. So I selected them all and tried "regenerate previews" a progress bar in the activities window came up and indicated 3 hours to regenerate previews, 3 hours later no previews. I am now using Adobe bridge to navigate through the capture folder.
I know I should put in a report, but new things keep popping up. like it freezing up and just general slowness. I have already turned off Open CL.
In the past I have opened cases, Version 5 had this bad bug where the session folder or preference would corrupt and they had no idea about it, it was only later when multiple reports came in that they realized there was a problem, while they were just telling me to keep reinstalling everything.
I am really frustrated with the problems with the software and the involved process in trying to get things working right. There isn't another piece of imaging software I use that is this much trouble.

OK, after the regenerating, I quit the program and when I re opened it the previews were all back. Also surprisingly it did not crash like it was doing before when quitting. Very idiosyncratic piece of software,
I really want to love this program but it is hard0
