Capture One Pro 12.0.2 Still Not Support Nikon Z Mount Lens
I have Capture One 12.0.2 and the 24-70 f/4 is not 'recognized', i.e., the built-in lens profile (distortion correction, vignetting) is not applied.
I had to stop using C1 for my Z6 with 24-70mm f4 S. At 24mm the lens has complex distortion. C1 does not appear to do any correction nor have anyway to correct the distortion due to its complex nature.
I am back to using LR.Waiting for DxO support or C1. DxO website says February 2019 for Z6 support.
But still not update....very disappointed

I have to agree with Louischow as I just paid for CaptureOne Pro (coming from CaptureOne Pro Sony) only to find no profile for this lens which dates back to November last year! To add to this cost I now had to renew my LightRoom subscription! Please advise when this profile will be out? 😉 😉 😉 0 -
Ditto to NNN636419447865299268 - I have just gritted my teeth and paid the upgrade AU$270! and of course was more than disappointed to find native lenses for Z7 not supported. I either have to accept my world is a lot more curvy or go back to Lightroom for a while.
Please Phase One advise when we can expect support for the z lenses!0 -

We are not Phase One; we are fellow users. (This is a forum of users.) If you want to let Phase One know that you would like support for the Z lenses, tell them so in a Support Case.

It would be unusual if there was no plan to support the new lens types.
However as always these things can take some time by the time lenses have been obtained for testing, the tests have been run to successful conclusions and the results have been approved and made available for issuing against a release schedule.
I think we can observe from the recent releases how long such things can take when working in partnership with a manufacturer, One might guess they could take a little longer if there is no clear commercial partnership in place that might ensure better access to products in a more timely fashion.
But they will almost certainly come at some point.
However it does seem odd that any information expected to be passed directly from the lens is not applied. It would be worth creating a Support Case with a view to getting some feedback about that observation.
IMO.

We are aware of the new lenses and actively working to support them. 0 -

BTW. Is now C1 able to recognize supported AF-S lens mounted via adapter and use existing profile?0 -

I'd expect better from software designated "Pro". It's like watching paint dry, and the whole concept that we have to apply for lens support... 🙄 Isn't Phase One doing market research? - the better tool to direct development efforts, in my opinion.

I should imagine that Phase One have every intention of supporting the Z lenses. And in this case, maybe there is no great need for users to ask for support to inform Phase One's priority list. On the other hand, take, say, the recently announced Tamron SP 35mm f/1.4 Di USD lens. I would think that support requests would certainly help Phase One gauge how many Capture One users are eager to use that lens and have it supported.

I agree fully, but as they say: "Hell is full of good meanings, but heaven is full of good works" 😉

It's nothing to do with market research, and everything to do with targeting limited resources.0 -
