How well does Phase One work with Network Directories?
I searched the forums, but didn't see any answers. I know that some software doesn't like to edit data over a network connection - it's best to copy data to the local drive, use the software to edit the data, then copy the data back to the network drive. How well does Phase One handle editing data over the network? Thanks!

We have seen some issue with users running AFP connections.
As long as you stick with SMB there should not be a problem.0 -
Thanks for the reply. Are you referring to using SMB to mount network volumes which are hosted on PC servers, or hosted on Mac OS X servers? If you are saying that it is a best practice to avoid AFP (even in a situation in which the client is Mac OS X, and the server is Mac OS X), I am alarmed, and I offer to help you figure out where the problem is. I asked my original question because a site which has all new Apple equipment is asking for some guidance, and I do not want to steer them into a problematic setup. Thanks! -arek 0
