CO6 to CO7 grace period or not?

Everytime I start my Capture ONe Pro 6 that I purchased on Aug. 8, 2012, I am told that I have an update. When I download the update, (Pro7), and go to activate it, I'm told that I have used up all my updates. When I look at my "history" I'm told I have two computers activated. When I attempt to deactivate them, it tell me the older dated computers are still activated and the new newer dated (the same computer) has been deactivated.

What gives? Am I allowed to use Pro 7 or not?

    If I were you, I'd contact PO support and see if they can get it straightened out.

    CO7 is a paid upgrade. You can not activate it with your CO6 license key.

    ...true, however you can trial V7 without affecting your V6 installation...and before purchasing the paid upgrade (well worth the small cost to do so IMHO)
