Problem after upgrading
Hi,
I've got Capture One Pro V4.6 and have been successfuly
using it for a couple of weeks.
I decided to upgrade to the latest version 4.8.2 and downloaded it.
When I was installing the upgrade, I started to get error messages, such as
'Error code 5' This said the upgrade could not overwrite some files.
The result is that I cannot upgrade to the latest version. The strange part
is that I can install version 4.8.1 without any problems, but not 4.8.2.
I've tried re-downloading and re-installing 4.8.2. No luck, same problem.
If any of you good people could offer some help in solving this problem
I'd be grateful
Regards,
Robbie

Best to always uninstall CO4.x first from Control Panel, followed by fresh install. 0 -
Thanks for the reply.
I have tried what you say, removal then complete reinstall, but still got the
dreaded error code 5. I uninstalled through the control panel, but I noticed
it said 'not all components removed, uninstall these manually'
I will locate any 'left over' files and remove them and let's hope this is a
success.
Thanks again.
