View Selected Colors gone in 4.7 standard
Now I know this toggle was not supposed to be in standard, however it was a great quick and dirty way to get a BW* view which was nice for exposure adjustment. I programmed Cntl-Q so I could toggle Color/BW.
Now it's gone and there is no quick way to check BW version which is nice when adjusting exposure.
Cntrl-Q is still assigned but doesn't do anything. It does appear to still refresh the view.
*yes, not true BW as there was a bit of red/purple left. But so rare a color it was basically BW

Correct, this feature relates to the Color Editor, which is a Pro/DB feature. The menu appeared accidently in the standard edition, creating confusion to users (and joy for some) I think. 0 -
Can this joy ever be returned?
I would really like a keystroke to toggle between color and BW view. Such an onscreen button existed in 3.7 and I used it when adjusting nearly every image. This is a big loss in 4.x0 -
Or.... why not transform this Joy to a B&W button... Or a keyboard "BW Shortcut" or "Preview Desaturated Image" or... anything like this.
You understand me... 😉

A feature request has been filed for a B&W Preview toggle, but please note that the forum is not generally monitored for such purposes and if you have a specific feature request create a case on as that way we can keep track of the requests better and increase their possibility for implementation in future releases.
Thank you very much for your understanding.
With kind regards,
