Downloading 4.8.1 Problem

Hi,

I have been trying to upgrade my version of Capture One 4.8 to 4.8.1 following an update prompt from the software - wgenever I click on the download link in the downloads screen of the Phase One website I am just shown a blank page instead of being able to select the download server! I have tried using Firefox and Internet Explorer 8.

Have any others been aving similar problems - or does soemone know what I might be doing wrong.

  Have you tried to go to the download page directly, not through the Capture One program...
  http://www.phaseone.com/Content/Downloads/CO4.aspx
  ... and download the newer version? (as a workaround)
  
  It could be your firewall playing ball with you.

  Thanks for the reply and I have now tried that and still no joy, not sure what to try next 😕 may try and check my firewall settings but I downloaded some other (unrelated stuff) earlier no problem.

  Hugh, I remember that XP SP2 and later have pop-ups blocked (yellow bar on top of the page should appear). You are not specific about what is stopping you, so just a guess.

  Well I seem to have fixed the problem now - I had reinstalled Windows a few weeks back and only had one day for activation - not sure if this was causing the problem or not but have been ale to download the update now 😊
