NVME or SATA

Is there any advantage in storing the catalog on my faster NVME boot drive vs my SATA storage drive?

NVME Samsung 970 EVO m.2
SATA Samsung 860 EVO m.2

I would say no since we work with many, small files and for that NVME and SATA are more comparable speed.

NVME is useful for sequential transfers of larger files to another NVME.
