workflow for a newbie to C1

I am new to C1. I have V5 Pro. I work on a PC. I import my NEF files into folders and rename with a different program. Now I want to bring each folder into C1, do the RAW conversion and output the files for further work in Photoshop CS4. What is the sequence of steps? Is there a glossary of unique C1 terms?

    Bert,
    Use the Library tool and locate the existing folder of NEF files. They will populate in Capture One.
    Edit as you see fit and Process to TIFF or JPEG and then use further in Photoshop if necessary.
