Sessions or Catalog?
I'm new to Capture One.
I typically keep all my processed files in unique folders by date, for example,
a year folder (2013) followed by job folders
130625_SmithWedding
130631_JonesWedding
Would it be best if I used the Sessions or Catalog importing/organizing method?
I really don't need the ability to keyword search images. And I like being able to easily move a folder of images from one hard drive to another.
Thanks

My preference is sessions.
My needs are similar to yours.
I could, perhaps, see some benefit from keywords for my purposes that really would not seem to apply to weddings (unless you find regular clients who are serial brides or grooms! 😂 ) . Maybe for some material but not all. It occurs to me that the Output files might work well in a catalogue and still give all the information required to identify any file that might need to be re-worked from the "archived" original for some reason. No need to have everything in the catalogue at all on that basis.

ETA.
With a session and its standard folder structure you can move the entire session, source files, edits and output, in one go. If you name the session as you do the processed files folder name example it should work very well. Basic keywords and copyright info, etc, can be included when you import to the session should that prove useful.0
