CO Learning Resources?
What are folks using to learn about using CO and to grow their skills in DAM and adjustments?
I've started to list those resources here:
http://www.bobrockefeller.com/blog/capt ... -resources
I'd like to expand that with sources I've missed. What should I add?

Thanks for that Bob 😊 0 -
When we launched 9, we made a COmmunity page (see what we did there) which contains resources for Capture One, share sites and more.

We will be developing it this year - watch this space0 -
Thanks to Bob Rockefeller for starting this thread. It led me to Luminous Landscape and a series articles and discussions that I was not aware of. Jim describes a listing of resources that C1 will detail. As a relative newcomer (I started with C1 with the release of version 8.0), I have watched every webinar and tutorial, and read the Image Professor and similar articles. The webinars were extraordinarily helpful to me as I learned my way around. These How-to-do-it videos taught me how to use C1. The articles were less helpful – spiced with useful insights, but often with insufficient details and not broad enough oversight. Without going into further detail, C1 instructional material (and help file data) didn’t go far enough into the details and science of editing and editing with C1. They didn’t help enough with how to handle bad images, the “whys†of workflow, and the theoretical and practical issues of image manipulation alone and in comparison with other programs.
I found myself searching with Google for these additional details; and here I found almost all of the materials aimed at PS and CC/CS. These PS based materials were quite helpful, but still PS is not C1. Even so, I came to the conclusion that for the details and the theory and practice of editing I would have to turn to the web and utilize the material prepared for other programs.
Once we get beyond the introductory webinars and information, I think C1 needs more instructional articles, and articles or tutorials in much more depth and detail. We shouldn’t have to learn how to use PS and LR in order to learn the details of C1. I suggest readers take a look at for a series of more than 60 articles on “Editing/Photoshop†as a model as to how additional instructional materials might be developed. I was able to transliterate these PS details to C1. Perhaps a group of C1 users might be able to develop similar material on “Editing/Capture One.†And I do like Capture One and the people who developed it and are teaching it.

Help is in a bit of a transitional phase. For 9, we pulled it apart and re structured it into more of a "workflow" starting with setup, and ending in Output.
The app itself now has full "?" help links for all tools, which link into tool descriptions in help, then from there back into the workflow so you can see where it sits in the process. We've re-written massive sections of it (starting with keywords) to help new users.
Lastly (and unashamedly borrowed from a comment I found on here) we made a glossary of terms to help new users under stand the terms used in the app.
We hope it goes some way to making the app easier to use. Help though is like painting the Forth Road Bridge and will always be a work in progress - if you'd like to see more info on something, or find an article lacking, shoot us a support case and we'll see what we can do to improve the site.

Some missing pages in the help site:

I'll have a look into this... brb. 0 -

As I understood the reports the Forth bridge has now been painted with something expected to last 20 years. However that might have been the rail bridge.
The road bridge seems to have other problems right now. Who knows what the replacement bridge will bring when it is finished?

Thanks for the link as I did not know that there was a Kindle book out for CaptureOne.
I am going to think about getting it, but it is one of those strangely priced books. The Kindle version is more expensive than the print version and that has never made any sense to me. After all, the print version presumably has all of those nice color photos.0
