anyone using capture 7 with an intuos tablet &win 7 64?
hello,
as i'm still struggling to get capture running again on my win7/64 machine, i'm asking myself:
is it possible -at all- to work with a wacom intuos ( mine is intuos4) with capture 7?
anyone using this combo successfully ( eg right click of the pen working properly, which is necessary for painting
the masks for local adjustments) ?
it was ok in capture 6 , maybe i can solve my problems by downgrading to version 6 again, instead of deinstalling/reinstalling 7.1.5 , 7.1.6 for nervewracking hours without any success....
every answer welcome, thanks!

I have been working with an Intuos 4 and Capture One 7 for a few month without any problem. Was using it with Version 6 for nearly two years, too, also without any problem. Right click works perfectly and lets you select brush size, hardness etc.. What problems do you exactly have or expect?

oh, and by the way:
the support told me today, when i was asking wether this kind of problem is common or known,
that most of their customers don' t use a wacom at all, because there is hardly any advantage compared to a mouse.
a statement which left me puzzled!0 -
I could only get the pen right click to bring up the brush settings using wacom driver 6.34-3. The later drivers all lose this function (for me). This worked ok for a while then i had other pen cursor problems (stuck left hand top corner of screen). I now use driver 6.37-6 and accept that the rick click function does not work for brush. . I use a logitec mouse and i wonder if there is a problem (clash) with the wacom & logitec driver. It's only the brush parameters that do not work with right click pen in C7, made me think it was a C7 issue, but support said this was not a C7 issue.
Pen right click context menu function including the brush size/hardness etc work fine with photoshop CS6, lightroom 5.3 and all windows.
I adjust brush size using mouse in C7. 99% of my wacom work is in PS CS6 so i can live with it.
Wacom intuuos 5, win 7 64bit. Wacom driver 6.37-3 logitec setpoint 6.32
You could try uninstalling all your present wacom drivers and try wacom drivers 6.34-3 and see if it works for you, but for me the stuck and jerking pointer issues caused me to go to the latest wacom drivers and put up with the loss of pen right click function in C70 -
thanks a lot, raymond!
i will definedly try what you recommend, once capture deigns to run again.
i tried the work-around with brushsize-adjustment via mouse for a while,
but its too time-consuming for a production for me! should really be possible to use a wacom with windows
and capture, right-click works in every other application i use & used. it even did in maya
and i guess maya is having a far more complex architecture than capture....
maybe its a support-case for wacom as well?0
