Hierarchical keywords with v1.3

Just updated to version 1.3 and hierarchical keywords have gone.
Anyone else seen this?

    I don't use hierarchical keywords so haven't seen this.

    What I did see - and I don't know whether it's a bug or a new feature - is that if you import a catalogue - via File > Import Items > From Catalog File - it converts catalogue sets into hierarchical keywords. It does also retain them as catalogue sets, so you end up with a duplication of data. I like to keep keywords and catalogue sets separate, treating them as public and private data respectively, so it was a good thing these were temporary catalogues to see if the 128,000 file limit had really been fixed.

    As I said I don't know if this is a bug or a feature - a lack of sensible release documentation makes this impossible to tell. However it would sort of tie in with your observation, if confirmed by others, and indicate that Phase One don't have a comprehensive test plan - or didn't follow it - before releasing this update.

    I make use of the Make XML Data File option quite a bit and what is strange is that these "new" hierarchical keywords are exported as catalogue sets. This would mess up a few of my scripts if I were to keep this duplicated data as hierarchical keywords. It's not a problem though as I don't use them.

    In fact it's not a problem as I still find the iView Media Pro or Expression Media work well enough for me. And for speed and reliabilty I still prefer iView Media Pro, even though it's 6+ years out of date!

    Even in Expression Media, hierarchical keywords were implemented as (hidden) catalog sets.

    Exactly the same for me.
    Has the support an idea about this issue and knows how to fix it (at least a workaround) ?

    Therefore, I can't create hierarchical keywords ... 😕

    Hello,

    Fixed for me.

    I asked the question to the support and their answer was:
    [SUPPORT] “In all likelyhood the catalog simply has the Heirarchial Keywords at the bottom of the Organize Panel. This simply needs to be dragged up to make room for the options to add the necessary information.“

    I tried to do it and now I have my hierarchical keywords.
