90% of issues are the cable (ok, maybe just 80%). have you check with other cables. What is the length and have you a repeater?

    In addition to Paul's suggestion.

Has anything changed on your system - software updates, etc.?

Have you checked that the preferences show that Nikon is Enabled for tethered support - and perhaps that all of the other options are disabled?

Might you for some reason be running C1 in DB mode?

Probably all irrelevant but quick to check and sometimes the "obvious" things are overlooked because "it can't possibly be anything to do with that."

    Are you on V8.3.3 ?

Perhaps if you can't wait for support and you need to continue working ... I'd suggest that you consider downgrading to a previous version that will recognise your tethered Nikon DSLR and permit captures.

I was recently in a similar situation, support has recently informed me V8.3.3 has some current design conflicts with Nikon (I had a CONTAX setting that could not be unselected from a dropdown menu) - It recognised my Nikon DSLR but would not permit me to capture - had to downgrade to V8.0 and all was fine ! Support did inform me that this will be resolved in Version 8.4 😄

    Kind Regards, Richard

Suddenly C1Pro no no longer recognizes my Nikon D3x.
