Live view time out

Question:
We work in a studio environment where it would be nice to have live preview available for longer than 20 minutes. Is it limited to 20 minutes to protect the sensor?

  Eos Utility allows you to have live preview open all day... We have two sets in the studio that have been doing this for years with no damage to the sensor.

  There might be a time limit set in your camera's settings. Please check them first.

  I agree.
  
  But this is a user-to-user forum so we can agree. I'd suggest filing a support case with that as a feature request so that Phase One itself receives your feedback.
  
  In the meantime you can script Live View to stay open; every 20 minutes and 1 second the script would simply unpause live view.
