Rating in Multi View
Hi,
I use the Multi View when I am editing or culling the images. Is there a way to rate an individual image in this view?
If I highlight one of the images, and select a rating, all the images in the multi view receive the same rating.
Thanks,
Michael

Michael,
Make your Browser bigger and make the size of the thumbnails bigger too. Once you do that you can see everything big enough to judge and rate. From there click the star rating below each image one by one or just cycle through them with the arrow keys and use the keyboard shortcut to rate.0 -

I do work the same way, when doing this for rating, I click on the single file process icon (with a "1" in a square) then it rates only the selected file over the others…0 -
Hi again,
I understand that I can click EACH image in the Multi View to select the rating...
BUT...
Try this:
Select let's say 3 Images...
All 3 Thumbnails are highlighted and the 3 Images are in the Mulit-View Browser Window.
Now, Click the number 1
You will notice that ALL THE IMAGES now have a rating of 1
I would think that only the HIGHLIGHTED IMAGE would accept the rating,
That's how it's working on my end. Am I missing something?

Hi,
Toggling the view only leaves one image.. I would like to be able to simply see the images in Multi-View... move the arrow key, and then hit a star or color rating..
The only way to do this in Multi View is to use the mouse to click on a star or color..
I would like to use the keystroke shortcut
Are we on the same page?

Yes Michael, we are on the same page (I hope) and the page just changed a bit, if you read your posts carefully.
Let's make it simple: on my Mac (OS X 10.5.8, CO 5.0.2) I can apply star rating either to all selected or to each selected individually by using the 'Edit Primary Only' toggle as I understood was your question in your post of 6 Jan.
But... in your last post of 17 Jan you mention color tagging as well. This option does not 'listen' to the 'Edit Primary Only'. I reported it as a bug which was acknowledged by Phase One.
Note the either the Multi View or Primary View mode have no impact on this as far as I am aware.0
