Converting sessions from 3.x to 5.x

Hi there!

Does anyone know if it is possible to convert old sessions from Capture One 3.x to 5.x PRO? Otherwise I will have to go through all my hundreds of old sessions.

CO5 Pro can convert sessions from CO4 Pro but not from CO3 Pro.

No, I am afraid not. CO4 cannot convert CO3 sessions.

version 3.x is so dramatically different that, to be blunt is not compatible at all with v4.x or 5.x

the simplest way to convert, would be to create a new session in 4.x or 5.x and then take your raws and copy them to the capture folder of your new session.... and reprocess...

I'm not sure why you'd want to go from an old session into v4 or v5 other than utilizing the new raw processing features.... if this is the case, this is probably your best route, as you are essentially creating a brand new session with your raws to be processed.
