output path trouble
I have a 6TB external drive called WD9. When I want to store edited variants on this drive, I choose it through the file dialog, but on clicking "process" I get the message "The output folder does not exist."
The reason appears to be that the path created by Capture One is not /Volumes/WD9 but rather /Volumes/WD9/ 1
(yes there is a 1, preceded by a space). This will happen for any folder on this drive, e.g.: /Volumes/WD9/ 1/myfolder (when the path followed in the dialog should be /Volumes/WD9/myfolder).
I should add that Aperture happily saves in the correct location, as does every program I know, with the exception of Capture One - so it can't really be a problem of the operating system. The Volume is not partitioned. There is no problem with other (smaller) external drives - their path is formatted correctly.
This is of course a major nuisance, and I would love to be able to use my drive without such problems.

I've seen this once or twice before. My guess is the OS has not properly mounted the volume name.
Open terminal and type
cd /volumes [return]
then
ls -a [return]
You will probably see the volume is actually mounted as "WD9 1" even though it says WD9 in the finder.
Quit terminal, unmount the disk and reboot the mac. Attach the drive again and repeat the above to check the volume is attached properly as WD9. Then try the workflow again.
