Using a Database application to create sessions

To All,

I am trying to research a way to use a database application (like Filemaker Pro) to provide the filename for laydown photography rather than having to manually type it.

Can anyone help?

  Our system uses a script in FileMaker that copies the filename of a given shot to the clipboard. This can then be pasted into the C1 dialog for the shot name.
