Color editor doesn't open

Have a look at my identical problem in the C1 5.x Windows section. I get it in v5.x and v6.

It seems to be associated with the Windows screen font size. I had changed mine from 96dpi to 120, in order to read my laptop screen. Changing back solved the problem.

C1 5 and 6 demands a font size of 96dpi. I was advised this was "a requirement" not a bug!

Yep, I thought that, as well.

    Hope this helps.

Well I tried your solution to the unusable color editor problem with C1pro and I did get it to work by changing the resolution to 96dpi instead of the 120dpi that I normally use.
The 96dpi setting seems to be awful erratic and the slider function seems to freeze when I try to make adjustments.
With that ...I'll switch my resolution back to 120dpi so I can better view my monitor for my other editing applications.
    Thanks for your help

<< I'll switch my resolution back to 120dpi so I can better view my monitor for my other editing application >>

That's what I've done and have effectively given up using - and investing time in - C1.

Such a pity, it gave great colours.

Knowing it was a "bug" that would be fixed is one thing but being told it was "a requirement" was a huge turn-off.

I can open the color editor in version 5, but not in version 6 on my laptop. Looks like a bug to me.

Is your screen set to 96dpi or another value (as discussed in this thread).

Have you been able to read this thread already? I mean, the solution was discussed here already, that 96dpi is a prerequisite as per release notes.

Yes, of course I've read it. Have you?

"I'll switch my resolution back to 120dpi so I can better view my monitor for my other editing application"

Switching to 96dpi not a solution. The solution is to not use version 6 and stick with version 5 on a windows 64bit laptop, or to not use version six on a lap top. Or not use the color editor at all.

Or Phase One could fix the bug.
