C1 launching with card mount (pref. unchecked)

Ok group, this is annoying me beyond belief, I have the preference checked off to launch c1 upon insert of a removable media. Yet every time I have a CF card mounted C1 is launching please tell me how to turn this off permanently.

Version c1 7.1.4 mac osx 10.7.5 Thanks

The pref is for launching (or not) the import dialog not the program. This is controlled by Image Capture program. More
