Sort order...
I guess it shouldn´t be very difficult 😄 but when I hit the sort button and select modified (for example)...nothing happens ❓
So which is it...am I doing something wrong or is there something wrong with Media Pro ?

The answer is there is something wrong with Media pro.
It does make you wonder if it was ever tested before releasing it.0 -

Did you test this before posting? Does it not work on your machine? Maybe a different OS than Vesa?

Drew I use Windows 64bit and I'm not the only one that has problems with it if you go through the thread I opened there are a few more.

Since co3 I have upgraded in good faith every release and I did the same with Media Pro but I'm begining to regret it as Microsoft's Expression was more usable to me then Media Pro is at the moment, something I thought I would never have to say.0 -

Hi Drew, yes I do and so far all I have got is we cannot reproduce it.
I have now had to reinstall ME2 and sort works perfectly on ME2, I suspect the new coding has caused a problem that was not there before.0 -

Roelof, I mentioned this in my other thread selecting multiple folders, but this is not what we are on about in this thread but the sort by attribute not working as when you try to change to change the sorting order and nothing happens as shown below.

I can't get sorting working, it does not matter if I'm in list view or thumbnail view, photos selected or not.

I think you are misunderstanding what I mean!
Put it in List view then along the top bar click on File Name or File Type ect to sort in that order, you can also add other criteria to this bar using view option, you can then put it back in thumbnail veiw after sorting. It's a workaround until it is fixed properly.

🤬 I have the same problem, I am using Windows 7 64 bits.
Media Pro is an application where we cannot select and display two folders at the same time and cannot sort anything in the remaining folder. Not to mention the List view which is unreadable (light grey on white...this doesn't work)
This alone make the software unusable.
I mentioned it in a previous subject which was suppressed by PO staff (I suppose because I cannot find it again in the list of subjects, only in my personal posts), I still wonder why (there was nothing offending in it, just surprise to be confronted with such a disastrous release). ☹️
If they need beta testers we are a bunch of expert IView / Expression Media users ready to test in various conditions, why not asking us ?
Certainly this is not serious and I am very disappointed.
I am waiting for a fast reaction from Phase One and more responses to our concerns (on this forum - and above all with a new version very soon.)
I was happy at the idea of being able to manage effectively eip files but will have to wait a little more it seems.

Please fix this- its impossible not being able to sort images!
Have also just discovered I can't export to xml- this is crucial to our workflow & we won't be able to upgrade without it.
