I have not transfered Capture1 files from a PC to a MAC, but I know that when you transfer Mac files to another Mac, you just need to Copy the session folders over. Example: A Session folder would contain (on the mac) "Captures" folder, "Processed" folder, "Trash" folder, and most important a "xxxx.session" file.
The .session file contains your settings is my guess. (the xxxx= your session name).

On the mac I just copy the sessions folder to an external (for back-up), or to copy it to another computer. It does not seem to matter WHERE you copy them TO as long as you copy the WHOLE "session folder".

I then "drag and drop" the .session file onto the Capture 1 ICON in the dock or in the Applications folder, andCapture 1 automatically loads the thumbs, and knows where all the files are (links etc.), and most important remembers ALL settiings, picks, etc.

Hope that helps (if the folder structure is the same on a PC for Capture1).

    Hi Alex,

Not possible with Captureone 3.7.x at the moment. I asked about this at a trade show and was told that it should be possible after updating to V4.....when it eventually arrives!

Oh well, have to hold off for a little while. Lets hope it happens.
Till then I'll just archive the C1w files... 😉

    HI-
At the moment you are able to transfer your captures without edits from one platform to another. Capture One 4.0 will have cross-platform abilities.

    regards-
