My latest post was deleted. why?
Hi Jim_DK,
Thank you for the explanation. Two issues worth considering.
1. It is the first time I hear that capital letters is shouting over Internet. I believe that I am not the only one who does not know this. Still, deleting it without any notice, without giving any possibility to apologize on the same page deemed offensive by you, seems to me like a slap in the face. Still, even if I did not know that I break one or more rules, I apologize.
2. You are wrong to state that my "rant" did not help anyone. It helped me very much. I am someone. I would like very much to see your reaction when you are faced with the specter of losing about 40000 edited images due to a bug in a new version of a program that has a long history of bugs.
Regards,
Florin.

Just take the latest backup of your edited images and repeat the update.0 -
Florin,
I think if there was a basic bug in the update process many people would have been reporting it by now.
There do not seem to be any other reports so far. (I have not seen any problems - but then I may not have done exactly the same update process as you so my experience may be different to yours.)
That suggests you may have a local problem. Certainly that would be distressing and worrying but there may be a simple explanation and it may not be a really serious problem - especially if you have a backup as rodast has suggested.
I think it would be very wise to work with the Support Team to assess what you are seeing before doing anything else.
HTH.

Hi Grant,
Thank you.
At least one, not me, discovered it. Still, some bugs can be very settings specific. I believe this is the case here, so not many caught it.
I run backups several times a day at two different locations. Had it gone unnoticed, gone would have been my work. As simple as that.
As to the support team. I wrote very methodically that I started with 9.2, updated to 9.3, found the bug, reinstalled C1 9.2 (two) and checked that the bug was gone. They answered after 24+ hours (OK) asking me if I tried C1 9.3!!! Still waiting for an answer. I even gave them my cell number to call me anytime to help. Nothing happened. I wait.
