Delete Album and all images
I use CO8 for image processing. I have multiple catalogs and import images into albums in each respective catalog. I want to delete an album and all images after I am done processing. I have already exported the RAW and Final JPEG to external Hard Disks.
How do I delete all the images contained in the album from the catalog?
I right click on delete album and the album disappears but the images are still there in Catelog collections all images!!!

A album is a way to give a picture collection a virtual structure, that means C1 does not touch the pictures physically. So if you delete a album only the album structure disappear but not the pictures itself.
You have to delete the catalog on your hard disk if you want to get rid of the pictures - provided they are in the catalog and not just linked. To delete a couple of pictures or only one you have to mark them and cmd+backspace.
Do not take me wrong, but IMHO your workflow is a little weird.0 -
This issue has been discussed before on the forum. There is no way easy to do it. You could give all the images in the album a red flag and then go to the "All Images" collection and filter on the red flag and then select them all and delete them.
What CO needs is a "mark for deletion" flag like Lightroom. I expect this is something that will appear in a later release as it quite a common request.0
