Two problems with CO 8

I've been using CO since v5. I am running Windows 7 64-bit with a lot of RAM. Until v8 CO has been remarkably stable and trouble free. With CO 8 build 16 even I have had the program crash once so far. I am still plagued with using the del key. After many deletions during the editing of a shoot, the system freezes and I must restart CO. No key stroke works.

  Have you tried v. 8.0.1?

  I am using 8.0.1. That's the version I was referring to.

  Well, you said you were using version 8 (which by convention means 8.0.0), not 8.0.1...

  I have seen something very similar after multiple uses of certain keys - except that I noticed there was still some keyboard based activity possible within C1.
  
  It has happened just once and was not related to the use of the delete key.
  
  I'm not sure that this is a completely C1 matter. It might be some sort of responsiveness and Windows interaction combination of circumstances. If so it could be tricky to uncover.
