I have the same problem. I think it's a bug.

I had this "bug" with version 11, and I had to reinstall in a clean way Capture One, and it worked. Sometimes, some data packages don't reach the computer properly when downloaded 😄

    Are these Fuji files?

There is a report of such a problem for RAF files in V12 and I can see that with some sample files I have but my CR2 files are working normally.

Note the the options for RAF files may not include the Fuji Film curves, dependent on camera body, and thus are presumably being taken through a slightly different route in the process engine.

Reinstalling didn't solve the problem, even when trashing all files and folders I could find in the systemlibraries.
And yes, the files are Fuji RAF files...

@Grant I assumed this might be the case, but the problem also occurs when using the C1 filmcurves. Problems starts showing up when updating to (or importing with) the v12 engine.

I have seen this happening with both macOS and Windows versions with Fujifilm RAF files. I think Phase One already is aware of it, but I will contact them on this anyway.

I think the entire Fuji related part of the process engine may be different for a number of reasons and so it is entirely possible that something is happening that means any curve applied is facing the same lack of colour values calculation - or maybe they are calculated but for some reason not displayed. Probably a small but annoying glitch hopefully soon to be fixed.
