Folders in Catalog disappeared
I'm using Capture One Pro Build 11.0.0.282 on a MacBook (15-inch, Late 2016) running MacOS 10.13.2. I use a NAS to archive all folders in my catalog after I am done with them. Recently I needed to go pull an archived photo, but the folders are no longer showing up in COP. The photos are still in the catalog as I can access them under Catalog Collections > All Images. When I go to one of the images in All Images which is in one of the missing folders and then right click and select View in Library, nothing happens. I've tried synchronizing the parent folder on the NAS and that doesn't work.
I don't access the archived files very often so I'm not exactly sure when this problem started, but it's definitely been in the last month. Some possible culprits:
1) I upgraded to COP 11 from COP 10 in December
2) I moved my library from an iMac to the Macbook Pro shortly after upgrading to COP 11
Any ideas on how I can restore the folders in the Catalog?

Hello everybody,
I´m new to the forum but not new to C1.
Since I experienced the exact same problem with missing folders I´m warming up this thread.
The pictures are still in the catalogue and accessible via "all pictures", but the folders are missing. adding them manually doesn´t work - the added folder doesn´t contain any pictures (the files are physically there though).
Have you found a solution for the problem? The contents in the article posted by Ian3 don´t help in this situation.
Version is 12.1.0 on Win 10 64.
thank you and best regards,

If you have added back the folders, but the images in them don’t show, have you tried then synchronising the folders in question?

Hi Jo, I can't remember how I fixed this, but the method in the blog post did not work. Sorry I couldn't be of any help but I think I figured it out some time after I'd posted this as I'd normally report back with the solution. 0 -
thank you for your reply!
Since I couldn´t solve the problem I reactivated a backup. But another user in a C1-facebook-group experiences the exact same problem, and we would still be very interested in a solution.
I don´t use any lightroom presets...0
