The software is set-up to keep these hints showing as long as the mouse is not moved. In my Windows 7 64Bit system this operates correctly.

That's what I wrote in my first message. Unfortunatly, it does not work with my W7 64. The infos stay a very short time then disappear.

Of course, the mouse is not moved at all ; moreover, it has no problem with other softwares.

NB : It was working fine with Expression Media 2.

I have never really used this function in the past and have now tried it following the post. I like the idea but I am having the same problem as Lion. My system is Win7 64bit and I would like to make full use of this feature in the future.

Phase One, please add this to the next bug fix.

    Hello.

Don't work anymore after changing my mouse for a new one (using PS-2). The infos never stay until the mouse is moved but always disappear after a short time or immediatly ☹️

On my EM2 the info (tooltips) is shown for about 5 seconds and it's possible to turn it off:

Could this setting be changed by accident in your situation?

No. The box is clicked but it still doesn't work constantly flickering or off altogether.

I would love to be able to use it but it is totally u/s.

    @ rmoorlag

The option "Show tooltips for toolbar buttons" as nothing to do with the "Inspector key". If you uncheck the option, the "Inspector key" is still working (and working bad on my computer...)

Ok, i misunderstood the term 'Info Key'.
The inspector key (default the ? sign) does indeed show permanently in EM2 when not moving the mouse:

The flickering or immediately disappearing info-window is occuring also on both of m PCs with Win7Pro 32bit and VistaSP2 32bit. I see also that the status bar on bottom left with "Catalog xx MB and Media yy GB" is continuously flickering. Of course my mouse is fixed, but something else makes MP think that the mouse is moved? When I push the Shift-? button continously, the pop-up is flickering.

    Best Regards from PhaseZero
