    It's not 30% off version 20 - that hasn't been released - it's 30% off version 12, and you'll eventually get 20 free.

The base price for 12 is readily available.

Capture Ones's Black Friday sale offers 30% off version 20, purchased in advance. It is not clear what the base price is supposed to be. Can anyone with experience with this or the previous discount offer tell me the base price for the upgrade?

The upgrade to version 12 was $149. The current discount says 30% off $149, but when I went to buy it, it said the total was $149. This would mean the non-discounted price for version 20 would be a bit over $193. It could be this is the new price for an upgrade, given upgrades since version 8 have steadily increased from a bit below $100 to $149 for an upgrade to version 12.

To be clear, I am not asking if the upgrade price change is reasonable. I just want to know if the current 30% off price is $149 or I missed something in the order process and the new upgrade is meant to be 30% off of $149.

The Black Friday deal requires the use of the Coupon code at checkout to apply the discount.

You can try the process without having to commit to the purchase.

    HTH.

I feel quite dumb. The coupon code is clearly printed on the "Pre Order Capture One 20" web page in bold black letters. Somehow, I missed it. When you enter it you get 30% off $149. The non-discounted upgrade price is the same as for version 12, but it is for an advance purchase of version 20, as it says on the pre-order web page.

So many different systems with slightly different ways of presenting and working that it is easy to skip over something.

Especially for 2 "versions" of the same thing. Almost.

It caught me out for a short while too. Distractions. I blame distractions!
