Capture One Accessing Other Specialty Software
I currently have a trial version of Capture One 11. I was also planning to leverage Media Pro in my workflow (currently licensed). However, given the recent announcement, I will likely move to Photo Supreme for cataloguing. I have two questions related to my planned workflow: (1) What is the best approach to retaining metadata when passing photos catalogued in Photo Supreme to Capture One for post processing? AND (2) In some cases, I plan to use other specialty software for "technical" editing. What is the best approach for retaining all previous metadata with the newly edited photos since I may want to apply some additional edits in Capture One?
Thanks in advance for any help/advice ...

I've just moved over to Imatch and am finding it really good at cataloguing, maybe give that a try? 0 -

In my opinion - the best way is no edit/ change metadata in C1. PSU is great software for cataloging and C1 for RAW editing.
Work with metadata only on one place[quote="JeffreyD" wrote:

The same as point 1. Why do you want to have metadata (or what you you mean with metadata) in different programs like C1?[quote="Richard Allen" wrote:

Ans where is the answer to his question?
Imatch makes here nothing better or worse than PSU.0
