switching from PC to Mac

I am using 4.x and I am switching from PC to Mac
1. Do i need to re-purchase mac license?
2. Can I upgrade from PC Ver 4 to Mac ver 5?
3. For the quality of RAW to JPEG conversion, is there any quality improvement from ver 4 to 5?

  I can give some general guidance, only Phase One staff can give you explicit information on licenses.
  1. When you have a CO4 license, you may assume that it is platform independent (= no need to purchase a Mac license); only older CO3 LE licenses are platform specific
  2. When you have a CO4 or CO3 LE license you will probably need to buy an upgrade to CO5; only a CO3 Pro license is entitled to upgrade to CO5 for free due to 2 free upgrades in the license; you can check this yourself when you login into the Phase One site and go your your account, license management
  3. CO5 has several enhancements over CO4 which may result in image quality improvements.
  
  Note that when you plan to buy a new Mac, it will have the latest operating system (Snow Leopard). You need CO5 on Snow Leopard, so buying an upgrade will be in your plan anyway. This will solve any other issues mentioned at the same time.
