You can get a 'no power' firewire adapter from Capture Integration.

    http://www.captureintegration.com/sales ... lator.html

This will prevent any power from the firewire bus getting to the back, therefore forcing the back to use it's own power. The only problem is that the cable does not fit into the P25, it's too fat. You can cut it down, or use it between your normal firewire cable and your computer.

    Hope that helps.

    thanks alot!

But what do mean by "it's too fat"? The bluewhite plug, or the black one? Or is the black part the female? All this refers to the link provided by you...

    thanks

    Hi:

The blue part is too fat. It's easier to just use it between the computer and your usual FW cable.
