Unwanted metadata sync between RAW and TIFF
Hi!
I've noticed that when I have both TIFF and RAW files into the same folder [a RAW edited in PS and automatically imported back to C1 through "Edit With" command], when I add a color tag to one of them, the tag is synced to the other file. I though that, since both files have the same name, C1 is reading the metadata of the XMP sidecar, but even if I assign different filenames, they keep syncing the metadata. So, no matter which one I tag first, the other will receive the same color tag. It's like if C1 were considering both files as one.
I know that if I change the preferences settings of the XMP to LOAD instead of FULL SYNC, it solves the problem but then, only C1 will be able to read the updated info, since it won't write changes into XMP so that other software could read them. I thought that TIFF files would write changes into embedded XMP, not into a sidecar like RAW does. I've already tried check/uncheck the options below the auto sync sidecar options, but nothing changes.
So, what I want is to be able to send a RAW to be edited in PS and assign different ratings/colors to original RAW and edited TIFF, in a way that the metadata could be read by other softwares.
