    Mr. Kannair,
Seems as though all is correct on your end. On Mac OS X the formatting cannot be done directly in the finder but is easily done inside the Disk Utility located in the Applications > Utilities folder. Be sure that the CF cards are formatted using the MS-DOS file system. This will create a DCIM folder that must be present for files to be recognized.

If this is not the answer, Knowledge Base article #1704 is a good one to review that may offer some more insight to you as to what else may be going on with this issue.

Has this bug been fixed in 3.7?

    aaanorton,
The only Bug confirmed with CF card and Capture One Media Reader was the very first attempt at downloading post fresh install. It had to be \"shown the way\". The fix from the Knowledge Base article was:

    ><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
A special issue for Capture One Version 3.6.1 only. If you have never installed a prior version of Capture One on your Macintosh system prior to installing 3.6.1, or you have recently reinstalled your OS and then installed Capture One Version 3.6.1 the Phase One Media Reader will not offer to import files and the New Media Detected window doesn't open until at least one RAW has been placed into a Captures folder and allowed to generate a preview. You can drag and drop a RAW into your Captures folder or capture directly into the software using any Phase One digital back or DSLR camera that supports tethered capture with Capture One.
    ><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

This has been fixed in version 3.7. Please let us know if this is not the Bug you were referring to.
The methodology of MS-DOS formatting on Mac in Disk Utility still holds.

    Sincerely,

    k c

I think the wording is a little foggy in that KB article. My 3.6.1 setup does this on most new sessions, not just the first session after the install. The KB seems to be able to go either way.
I've also had problems with (usually 1st again, but not always) imports only pulling the JPEGs off of cards. This is actually worse, since you have to pay attention to every import to make sure TIFFs are coming over.

Thanks for the reply. Could you please read and respond to some of my 3.7 posts, so that the bugs I have outlined with that release can get resolved? I would really like to upgrade for 1DsMk2 tethering and to (hopefully) leave this CF card problem behind.
