Chromatic aberration in Ricoh DNG file
I am using a Ricoh GXR with mount A12, which generates DNG files (no other RAW format).
Using C1 v7 to process these files, I find some photos with a strong CA (or purple fringing), but although the "Chromatic aberration" checkbox is activated, the "Purple fringing" checkbox remains deactivated, and the "Analyze" button for Chromatic aberration never shows up.
This is a DNG file, but a "native" one, not one created by conversion from another RAW format. Shouldn't the chromatic aberration/Purple fringing correction tools be available ? At least a manual tool, as in Aperture ?
I looked up LR, Aperture, Photo Ninja, Raw Developer - in all of them there was a way to correct the CA.
What should I do?
(BTW, another problem with the files from the Ricoh GXR A12 with M-mount is the color: the generic DNG profiles provided in C1 don't work well, but I found a profile developed by "benaparis" which seems to work much better.)

I believe they should be available.
You should raise a support ticket.0 -
Thanks! Can anyone from Phase One confirm this? 0 -
Don't hold your breath.
If you file a support case, they will investigate and confirm/deny my earlier statement.0 -
OK, I did just that. 0
