Scripting on Windows

Has anyone been successful doing any scripting on a Windows machine? I am looking to automate processing of files as they appear in a folder. Contacted support and they say it is possible but no assistance or documentation is available. Searched the forum and only seemed to find scripting using Apple products which I don't have.

Would love to hear if anyone has had any luck with any sort of scripting.

The point is - for Mac has C1 a Interface for AppleScript. On Windows has C1 no any Interfaces for any Scriptlanguage.
