Try opening a session first, not a catalog.

Also, disable OpenCL for troubleshooting. Might be your graphics drivers are acting up.

    Update your graphics drivers.

I have updated my graphic cards driver (Nvidia Gforece GT 630M 2GB).
Now I have less black and green blocks on my batch converted jpg.

It happens not when I keep the size and dementions by 100%.
As soon when I reduce te quality, and size I get the green and black blocks on not all photos.

What is that? I did not see this in C1 6 pro.

As suggested earlier in this post, disable OpenCL for processing and see if that helps. OpenCL performance will be improved in an upcoming maintenance update, I suspect.

CO is as buggy as no other converter to me. It made the whole system very slow and unstable. I have one crush after another with or without OpenCL enabled! All my drivers are up to date. When opening catalog things literally come to a halt. I think this catalog thing is a stupid idea in that they are just trying to emulate Lightroom! What a shame for such an expensive piece of software! And have you noticed how the dynamic range sliders can give a picture HD look? In CO6 I never hesitated to use dynamic range sliders when the need arises, with CO7 I just have to be extremely careful with the sliders not to give a scene HD look! Thank god we have alot more capable converters in the market these days. I simply made a mistake to upgrade to CO7

Why are you using catalog, if you find it a bad idea and doesn't work for you? There are still a session mode for using C1 7 like C1 6. 🙄

I have noticed, how the "high dynamic" range sliders give a picture a HD Look; hell, it seems, that the name of this sliders aren't a lie. 🙄 And I can put in numbers, if my mouse isn't work perfectly for the sliders. From no effects until very nice HD-Effects. I like them! You can also use the mouse-wheel during your mouse-arrow is over the slider. So you can change it "carefully".

At least I am happy, that yo find other capable converters and I thank you a lot, to share this news here. 😉

I have had a lot of crashes. I was advised to disable openCL. This I did, but I still had crashes. The last change has been to set "Auto sync sidecar XMP" to None. I had it on 'Full Sync' to make CO7 work with Media Pro. This has made a difference. I have had no crashes since.

Of course this is not at permanent solution, but it helps until we get an update.
